Is there a minimum commitment?

One month for a dedicated engineer; after that you cancel with notice before the next invoice. Data projects are one-off, with no commitment beyond the quoted job. Actors are billed per result on Apify with no contract.

What is not included in the $2,500?

Proxies, captcha solving and cloud compute. Most clients run these on their own accounts; otherwise we bill them at cost with receipts. Management, reporting and replacement if the engineer is not a fit are included.

Why "from $500" and not a fixed price?

A simple, unprotected site with a few thousand rows is $500. The price rises with the protection level (Cloudflare, Akamai, DataDome and the like), the volume, and the number of distinct page types that need parsing. Once you approve the quote it is fixed; we do not bill overruns.

Do you offer a discount for several engineers?

Teams of three or more engineers are quoted as a squad rather than per seat. Tell us the roles you need and we send one price for the group.

How is payment handled?

Invoices in USD, payable by bank transfer or card. Engineers are invoiced monthly in advance. Data projects are invoiced after sample approval, with the balance on delivery. Apify Actors are paid through your Apify account.

Can I start with a data project and move to a hired engineer?

Yes, and many teams do. Start with a one-off dataset to check the quality, then hire an engineer when the work becomes continuous. The person who built the scraper usually takes it over.
